The Sorrow of Finding a Great Nanny
Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 10:40AM Now that I am working more and more on this (ahem)... endeavor, I've really been needing extra time to write, edit, ruminate, etc. I am so happy to have found a great Nanny.
I am really, really lucky. I'm not gonna lie, she rocks. Lucie loves her.... Lucie REALLY loves her.
Enter: mom jealousy.
They were playing while having breakfast at the high chair this morning - giggling and having so much fun. Me to self: "She doesn't giggle like that when I feed her - WTH?" Yes, I really thought that for a split second.
I said "I'll walk with you guys down to the park and we can all hang." She says, "Don't you have to work?". Oh yeah, heh. That. Ok FINE, you two just go off and play and giggle and have fun and I'll go.... write about it ;-)

Sore loser.
Hey, listen you. I'll decide who is a sore loser and who's not ;-)

That's right guys, while you were gone, subversives and progressives have been trying to steal our country. Maybe if you could show up at some places where union goons are pushing around tea party seniors, or at town hall meetings where scumbags are trying to run the show, or maybe hang around polling places during elections where the New Black Panthers are trying to intimidate voters.
You don't have to do anything, just show up in uniform—that's the ticket!
You will be surprised at all the "Thank you for your service and thank you for being here today" comments you will receive.
