Winter Pajamas

If there’s one thing we love about winter, it’s seeing our little bundles in sweet and cozy PJs. If you’re wondering which jammies are the best, we’ve got you covered. Without further ado, here are our top picks for warm baby pajamas that’ll keep your wee one toasty all winter long.

1. Leveret Pajamas ~ $18

For those of you who aren’t into “baby” designs, check out Leveret pajamas. They mostly come in stripes and plaid, but do have some cutesy patterns as well. Leveret pajamas are fairly priced, super soft and stretchy. Note: They tend to run big; get your baby’s correct size and let her grow into them.

2. Carters Footed Sleeping Pajamas ~ $10-$30(ish)

A crowd favorite, these cozy footed pj’s will keep your little one warm on the coldest of nights. They come in polyester, cotton and fleece. Note that polyester isn’t exactly known for its breathability, so watch out for overheating.

*Per Carters: “Carter’s polyester sleepwear is naturally flame resistant, while our 100% cotton sleepwear is tight fitting, and therefore does not require additional fabric treatment.”

3. Old Navy Sleepers ~ $17(ish)

Another budget favorite are Old Navy Sleepers. We love this quilted version, but their performance fleece options are great too!

*Per Gap, Inc.: “Information on flame retardants is proprietary and can’t be shared with the public.” Umm, that’s shady!

4. Gap Pajamas – $26(ish)

Gap jams are another parent favorite — especially when they’re on sale, which is normally the case! I was able to snag a number of sets at 50% off recently — score! Note: these are usually 100% cotton and snug-fitting, so they *shouldn’t be* treated with flame retardants…

5. Baby Deedee Sleepsie Quilted Sleepsie ~ $30

Baby Deedee Quilted Sleepsie footies are super cute and cozy (do they come in my size?!). They are made of 100 percent cotton, and have this handy “in between the legs” zipper to make middle-of-the-night diaper changes so much easier! Bonus: Baby Deedee jammies aren’t made with flame retardants.

6. Hanna Andersson ~ $42(ish)

Hanna Andersson jammies are my personal favorite; although they aren’t the cheapest, they are SERIOUSLY well-made and have lasted through both of our sons and the other families we’ve handed them down to. No matter how many times we wash these jams, the colors stay true; the fabric integrity is top-notch. Most of these pj’s are made with organic cotton, hooray!

*Not treated with chemicals.

7. Woolino Footed Pajama ~ $49

Woolino, makers of one of our favorite merino wool wearable blankets, also makes a wool footed pajama (might I add that it’s also tag-less for those who have sensitive kiddos).

We love this pajama because it’s made of superfine merino wool, which naturally regulates baby’s body temperature — your baby won’t overheat or wake up cold. Seriously, merino wool is a wonderful fiber because it breathes, wicks away moisture, is soft and naturally fire resistant.

Yes, these are a little pricey, but they’re super durable and made to last — well worth the $$!

*Been using these with my kids for two years now, and they remain my absolute favorite!!

8. LL Bean Toddlers’ and Kids’ Robes ~ $54

These adorable and warm robes are perfect on chilly mornings or after a shower or bath (size: 2T to 4T).

There you have it. We hope you found a few cozy pajamas to keep your kiddos warm on those cold winter nights. Stay warm, everyone!
