Of all the things I’ve achieved in my life, being mother to my sons is my greatest accomplishment. Mother’s Day has always been a lovely way to recognize and honor my own mom, stepmom and grandmothers. Becoming a mom myself has made the day that much more special.
To all you mamas out there, this is for you! Happy Mother’s Day!
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas
Here are a few of my favorite items for the mothers in your life. Or even for yourself, because #treatyoself!
Enjoy! ~ Kristen
1. Mama Nameplate ($395) + Personalized Bar Necklace ($470) from Tiny Tags
Many of my mama friends’ most prized possessions commemorating motherhood are pieces of personalized jewelry. My current favorite for this is Tiny Tags.
Tiny Tags jewelry is made in the U.S. and comes with a lifetime guarantee. The 14K Bar Necklace is engraved with my sons’ names on the front and their birth dates on the back. The Nameplate Necklace looks sweet worn either by itself or together with the Bar Necklace. Actually, I am currently rocking this combo as my everyday go-to necklace.
Tiny Tags is offering a special promotion to our readers! Use the code “lucie15” to receive 15% off your entire order thru 4/29- whoop!
2. YETI 20oz Tumbler ~ $30
To keep mom’s coffee warm and her wine chilled, YETI tumblers are dishwasher safe and fit inside most cup holders. The coral color is my fave!
3. ARISE Self-Care Mother’s Day Gift Box ~ $185
I love receiving gift boxes with an assortment of items. This box provides a great at-home spa experience, and as a great bonus, ARISE donates a percentage of sales to Girls Inc., a non-profit inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. GIRL POWER!
I bought this for myself earlier this year when I became interested in the art of meditation. I was stoked to find a book about learning to meditate mindfully in just 5 minutes a day!
This is such a gorgeous baby carrier, and I LOVE Tula. The floral print is not only beautiful, but also effectively hides spit up…it can be used from 7-45 lbs with no infant insert (hallelujah: one less “thing”!). Yes, please!
6. Chef’s Star Automatic Milk Frother ~ $40
At home latte success: need I say more?!
7. Fawn Design Diaper Bag ~ $160
I included this bag in our 2018 diaper bag picks. It is insanely popular, and I still hear tons of great things about it! Moms love that it can transition from a backpack to a messenger bag, and I personally also love the easy top access to all of its compartments and pockets.
*There is also a mini version for the minimalist mom. ; )
I recently received a bouquet from this company and was blown away by the presentation. The flowers were gorgeous and came wrapped in burlap with a pretty bow. This is now my go-to service for sending arrangements – it feels so personal, and it’s such a good bang for your buck. Even better, there’s no unnecessary plastic to throw away.
Just some ideas to celebrate your own mom – or maybe yourself!
Happy Mother’s Day — and THANK YOU for reading 💝
