Unlike many websites, we take your privacy VERY seriously.
Outside of Facebook Advertising, Edamommy Publishing, Inc. (that’s the fancy pants name for Lucie’s List) does not and will not ever sell or share your contact information with anyone for any reason. No “third parties,” no “partners”… none of that bulljive. Trust me when I say that I hate spam and other unsolicited emails as much as you do!
We use a cookie to determine if you are a new visitor to the site so we can serve a pop-up subscription form. If you have cookies turned off, you will likely see this form on every page, which you will find very annoying. The only remedy is for you to turn your cookies back on like a normal human being. 😉
When you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your baby’s expected due date (EDD) or actual date of birth. This information is used specifically to tailor your experience and to send you the right content at the right time – and for no other reason.
You may opt out of the newsletter at any time simply by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email. One click, no questions asked. Done and done. We won’t even be offended (okay well, maybe a little bit).
We have started to do Facebook advertising. This is called Facebook Remarketing. You can learn more about interest-based advertising from Facebook by visiting this page.
Some people find this particularly creepy, so you can opt out. To opt-out from Facebook’s interest-based ads, follow these instructions from Facebook.
Facebook adheres to the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising established by the Digital Advertising Alliance. You can also opt-out from Facebook and other participating companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance in the USA, the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada in Canada or the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance in Europe, or opt-out using your mobile device settings.
For more information on the privacy practices of Facebook, please visit Facebook’s Data Policy.
If you have any questions at all, please email me at [email protected].
