Our Favorite “Earth Day Every Day” Eco Products

It’s not easy being green… especially as a parent. No matter how small, our new roommates move in with a whole lot of stuff that end up wasting away in landfills, ultimately leaving a big carbon footprint. It is up to us, parents and eco-conscious consumers, to lower the environmental cost of growing tiny humans.

To celebrate #earthday and help you green up your parenting act, we put together a roundup of eco-friendly brands for parents who are committed to sustainability and who want to do some good for the planet. Check out our picks below.

Baby Bum Sunscreen

Baby Bum Sunscreen ~ $14

Known for their amazing sunscreens, Sun Bum developed Baby Bum – perfect for baby’s sensitive skin. This plant-based brand scored a 2 on EWG’s sunscreen guide.

Earthwise Reusable Mesh Produce Bags

Earthwise Reusable Mesh Produce Bags ~ $13

Stop using plastic bags for produce. These beloved mesh bags are an awesome resuable alternative.

Hydroflask ~ $32

Plastic water bottles should be a thing of the past. Once you switch to Hydroflask (serisouly, I have 7 of them 😂), you’ll never go back. Check out their pretty new spring colors.

Bee Green Reusable Grocery Bags

BeeGreen Reusable Grocery Bags ~ $13

The key to reusable grocery bags is to always put them back in your car (or wherever you leave from) so they are ready for the next use.

Schmidt's Deodarant

Schmidt’s Deodarant ~$9

This stuff actually works and smells great! I like the “potted” version best but it also comes in a stick. This deodorant is Ecocert certified 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free.

Girlfriend Clothing

Girlfriend Collective Clothing

Ethically made athleisure wear (sizes XXS to 6XL), everything Girlfriend Collective is offering (even their packaging) is made from recycled materials. It also has an upcycling program, ReGirlfriend, to try and close the loop and generate zero waste as a brand.

Eileen Fisher Clothing

Toss the toxins with Branch Basics and make your home safer. The brand’s concentrate can literally do it all, so they’re better for the environment (and your wallet)!

Ergobaby Everlove Baby Carriers

My favorite sustainable brand is Norwex!! I love their microfiber cloths with the baclock silver antimicrobial threading weaved in. They are awesome because they clean with just water and remove the harmful germs/bacteria not kill like traditional chemicals do. Their mop system is amazing, but they have tons of other sustainable products!
PS- I am not a consultant, just an avid lover!
