The weather is changing! Folks from colder climes can take their kids to the playground again (maybe…), dogs are shedding, pollen is everywhere, and we can finally start putting away our heavy winter clothes.
This is our Spring Boy’s “capsule,” a collection of adorable clothes you can mix and match together to create a host of different spring outfits for your little guy(s). There’s something at every price point, but most of these items are very affordable.

Our Favorite Spring Clothes for Boys
Your little guy can celebrate the arrival of beach weather with this bright fish print. This shirt is lightweight for warmer days, and the collar will make your little guy look oh, so handsome.
2. GAP Square Sunglasses ~ $11
My kids are super into wearing sunglasses—and it’s important to protect their eyes from harmful UV rays, so I go with it. This adorable pair is a great addition to any little boy’s spring outfit. See also: Favorite Summer Sunglasses
3. Cat & Jack Windbreaker ~ $19
Windbreakers are key for those in-between weather days when your little guy needs a protective outer layer that won’t get too warm. The vibrant color and checkered print on this one are on fleek (did I use that right? LOL). Plus, it’s got a front pocket for all your little guy’s stuff! ; )
4. Gymboree Pull-on Chambray Shorts ~ $24
Typically softer and more flexible than jeans, chambray shorts are a great alternative to traditional denim for the warmer months.
5. Vans Classic Slip-on ~ $30
You can never go wrong with a pair of Vans, and that goes for kids as well. This slip-on sneaker is great for little ones because you don’t have to mess with any laces!
Available in five colors, this soft top offers the comfort of a regular tee shirt as well as a collar that classes it up a bit for school.
7. Tea Collection Varsity Cardigan ~ $50
If your little guy is in need of a dressier outer layer, this charming cardigan from Tea will do just the trick. We love Tea because it’s high quality and it lasts!
8. H&M Cotton Pull-on Pants ~ $9
These cotton pants are a great alternative to jeans. My 4-year-old tells me these are comfy and soft. They’re also available in 5 different colors, so you can stock up.
9. Cat & Jack Shark Tee ~ $8
Target’s Cat & Jack clothes come in great colors and silly styles, and we love that so many of their boys’ shirts this spring are available in purple!
10. Native’s Jefferson Glow Slip-on ~ $40
I buy each of my kids a new pair of Natives every summer, and they wear them pretty much every single day. They offer the same features as a sandal, but are closed to protect their little toes when they’re running around outside. As a bonus, they’re waterproof, so they make great water shoes too!
11. Zara Boys Multi Stripe Bermuda Short ~ $16
Nothing says warm weather like these blue striped Zara shorts. Note: they tend to run small, so it’s best to size up.
12. H&M Printed Tee Shirt ~ $5
H&M makes this adorable tee in lots of fun patterns (and the price is right!). We especially love the unique “wild cat” print that’ll have your little guy roarin’ to go play outside.
13. Gymboree Tie Dye Hoodie ~ $35
We’re totally diggin’ the tie-dye print on this hoodie: lookin’ groovy, little man!
14. Zara Twill Skinny Jeans ~ $26
For your little hipsters, these stretchy skinny jeans are too cool for school. They come in loads of different colors, go with everything, and are comfy to boot.
Striped shorts are a classic that look great with any basic tee shirt. We’re loving the aqua color on these for the spring and summer months!
Enjoy the warmer weather!
