It’s no secret that pregnancy often causes sleepless nights (the beginning of the end of sleeping normally, LOL).
Even so, sleeping and lounging were two of my favorite activities when I was pregnant. I looked forward to walking in the door every night and changing into something soft, warm, and cozy. There were some weekends where I never changed out of my maternity pajamas, ordered in food, and watched endless reruns of Sex and the City (*sigh… life without children
Here are my favorite picks for maternity pajamas (and they can double as nursing pajamas when the time comes, too) and loungewear so you too can relax and binge-watch Netflix comfortably throughout your own pregnancy.
Your basic black joggers. These have an elastic waistband plus an adjustable drawstring so you get your “just right” fit. Note: they run small, so think about sizing up.
Super comfy ribbed joggers. They come in purple and taupe.
Just your average comfy sweats… but with style! We love the ripped knees on these sweatpants. Bonus: the inner fleece lining makes these extra cozy.
Tops and Layers
Wear your “Mama” status proudly with this pullover crewneck sweatshirt.
We love the fun pop the animal print drawstring adds to this hoodie. Made from ultra-soft knit fleece for extra comfort and coziness!
A highly-rated lightweight hoodie that’s ideal for cool mornings. And the beautiful dusty rose is the perfect shade for summer.
This cute scripted nightgown is lightweight and breezy for the summer months.
We love the celestial print on this simple cotton sleep shirt, which is also great for the postpartum months.
This sexy nightie has a glamorous look while still being so flowy and incredibly comfortable (it’s true!). Everyone who owns this thing loves it. Comes in several different color options.
Seraphine Birthing Gown ~ $65
A gown that will take you through pregnancy, birth, and nursing? Yes, please! *Also: it has pockets (!).
This affordable, comfortable pajama set for pregnancy and postpartum has been a long-time favorite… we’ve kept wearing ours long past the nursing days.
Mamas are loving this cute, short-sleeved romper that also doubles as nursing wear. Comfy, cute, and perfect for the warmer months.
A comfortable set that’s also sexy with the lace-trimmed hems. Yes!!
These slouchy pajamas are comfy and cute. The stretchy waistband accommodates growing bellies and the breezy, buttoned top offers convenient breastfeeding access.
These PJs feature a side opening, which will come in handy if you are planning to nurse during the 4th trimester.
Two words: Treat yourself! You will live and lounge in this uber-soft, uber-comfy set, and you won’t even remember that you got it in the “maternity aisle.”
Robes & Accessories
A shorter, lightweight robe that is ultra-cozy and soft. We like this pick because it can moonlight as a loose-fitting cover-up over tanks and tees… and baby carriers.
H&M MAMA Nursing Bras ~ $35 (2-pack)
You can’t properly lounge while being pregnant (or right after having a baby) without a bra that’s comfortable and supportive all at ounce. Stock up on these!
Everlane ReNew Slippers ~ $32
Keep your feet comfy and toasty too.
